Sebastian James Rose is a historian, writer and researcher. His current work focuses on global technology and infrastructure in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
He currently works at the Kulturwissenschaftliche Institut Essen (KWI), Germany, on the ERC project, Cultures of the Cryosphere: Infrastructures, Politics and Futures of Artificial Cooling. He has previously worked on the AHRC funded project, Coloniality and Communications: British Telecommunications in Mesopotamia in the Early 20th Century at the Loughborough University London.
